While it may look unassuming from the outside, you would be surprised to see what's on exhibit in the large spaces inside.

It is worth a couple hours of your time if you like to venture into the past, or if you're doing research for a history project. Admission is by donation as well.

Went during the winter time it was quite a drive but was totally worth it. We weren't sure of the timings so went around the closing time but they still let us see it without any problem. Might not look that interesting from outside but you would be surprised to see what they have on the inside. Huge planes it was a sight. Everything had a proper description to it. It was like I am living my childhood again. A must visit for all the first timers.

Several full sized, detailed models and aircraft from Shearwater's history, and a few exhibits on the facets of life on base, actions of RCAF members and an art gallery featuring aircraft from the base and squadron's history.

Was excited to see the Swordfish as part of the collection. A great representation of Canadian naval aviation and art.
